Andrew Mulder earned his BBA with a Major in Finance at Texas State University. In college he was a member of the Student-Managed Investment Fund, which oversaw part of the endowment at the school’s McCoy College of Business. He served as Portfolio Manager and guided the Investment Committee on decisions regarding asset allocation, sector allocation issues and individual stock selections. His time at SagePoint Financial, Inc. during college led Mulder to decide to become a financial advisor and join the company upon graduation. He currently holds his Series 7, Series 66 and General Lines Insurance licenses.
Mulder is passionate about helping individuals, small businesses, and non-profits achieve their financial goals. He gives clients customized and comprehensive advice about asset allocation, risk tolerance and investment recommendations, and focuses on retirement planning, primarily through corporate defined contribution 401(k) plans. He particularly enjoys working with small businesses and small business owners. As an independent advisor, he also works for himself running a small business, so he understands the entrepreneurial mindset and the challenges that it entails. His professional experience lends itself well to guiding other like-minded small business owners toward financial success.
Devoted to his family and community, Mulder is a member of the Financial Management Association, the Texas State Alumni Association and Texas Young Professionals
