David Rodriguez is CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner who started working in the investment industry in 1996. He earned a BBA with a Major in Accounting from Texas State University in 1995 and earned his CFP ® certification by exceeding the CFP board’s rigorous certification standards. During David’s professional career he has worked in some of the region’s largest brokerage firms, acquiring the series registrations 7, 8, 24, 52, 63, 65 and General Lines Agent licenses along the way. In 2008, the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce named him “Businessman of the Year.”
David uses his experience and education to expertly manage his clients’ financial futures. He helps them make savvy choices about creating and growing wealth and assists them in determining the best, most financially advantageous ways to distribute that wealth when the appropriate time comes. He is passionate about helping others create, protect and preserve wealth and particularly enjoys working with small businesses and entrepreneurs. As a small business owner himself, he understands the needs of fellow independent-minded individuals who are seeking answers to their financial and investment questions. He helps all his clients find the most comprehensive wealth management strategies that suit their individual financial profiles and tolerance for risk.
A devoted father, husband and active member of his community, David has been married to his wife Linda for over 18 years. Their son, a student at Bowie High School, is active in band, swimming and Boy Scouts. David’s daughter currently attends Texas State as a Mass Communication major. David is a longtime hospitality minister at his church and sits on the boards of the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Easter Seals of Central Texas. He is a regular volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America and the Bowie High School Band.
